Start every morning with a COMMON CORE MATH workout! There is no teacher preparation and new problems appear every time the file is open. Here’s how it works: Copy the student “follow along” page which is an attachment on the SMARTBOARD file. This can be copied, laminated, or put in a page protector for use over and over again. Once the SMARTBOARD activity is opened, randomly allow individual students to interact with the board. Your students will review daily the skills needed to meet the expectations of the COMMON CORE! With the “follow along” page every student in your classroom is engaged and learning. The skills covered in this activity include: associative, distributive, and commutative properties, multiplication, line plots, area and perimeter, time, elapsed time, rounding to the 10’s and 100’s, expanded form, fraction on a number line, and ordered pairs.
