Checkpoints are my version of quick formative assessments to see if students understand a concept. There is an I can statement listed at the top to show the standard the assessment covers and there is also a place at the top to mark whether the student is proficient or not proficient. Each assessment is worth 10 points to show quick mastery or not. There are 12 checkpoints included with this bundle covering the entire strand of CCSS of 6.NS.1 - 6.NS.8. These checkpoints are more rigorous than the older versions I have posted. There are open ended questions, there are word problems, and there are multi step problems. All problems reflect the rigor and challenge seen in the common core.
