Description

Here are 6 Common Core Math activities to help your kiddos enjoy Valentine’s Day while also practicing essential Math skills.

In this activity pack, you will get:
-9 word problems with a recording sheet- Skills covered are multiplication, division, fractions, and 1 money problem.
-What’s Missing? Activity- Students will find the unknown numbers in multiplication equations and record their answers. This particular activity focuses on missing unknowns for the 6 and 7 times table.
-Sweet Sums- Addition with regrouping practice (Answer key included)
-Sweet or Not? Students will determine whether multiplication equations are true or false, sort them, and record their answers.
-Subtraction Has Never Been Sweeter- Students will roll a cube and solve the subtraction equation. Each equation requires borrowing.
-Roll and Cover- Students will roll 2 dice, multiply the numbers together, and place a candy heart or other manipulative over the product. The first student to fill up their board wins.

***this is geared toward 3rd grade. It would be a challenge for 2nd and review for 4th.
