Community Helpers Resource Packet is meant to help students learn about the people in our community. It is a resource for getting students thinking and talking about these people's jobs and how their work affects our lives. The set includes 15 Community Helper Cards along with a blank Community Helper page, 12 pairs of Community Helper Matching Cards, 14 Community Helper Speaking Sticks, a 16 page Community Helper book, 2 writing pages (one with double lines and one with single lines), 14 Community Helper Coloring pages, 1 Matching objects to community helpers practice page, and ideas for using this packet.

Community Helper Math Packet is a resource that includes 25 pages of math practice. It is a great way for students to practice math skills while sticking with the community helper theme.

Community Helper Shape Match is a resource to help students practice plane shapes. It is an interactive game that works well for small group, or independent practice. The packet includes a student version of matching cards. These cards come in both color and black and white. They can be used for independent practice, or as a partner activity. The packet also includes 11 larger colored cards that work well for a small group, or math center activity.

Community Helper PowerPoint provides students with a look at the different helpers in our community. The PowerPoint is set to advance on its own. It also has a music audio that is intended to play with the presentation. I have included the audio file with this PowerPoint.

Easel Resources

Community Helper Resources and the math packets include an Easel resource. The PowerPoint does not.
