This Community Helper Preschool Language Activities Packet is developed to to target speech therapy goals for WH Question and Vocabulary Activities.

To prep the materials, print each page. Keep the WH question pages whole and cut out each rectangle on the vocabulary pages. Low prep!

Review the types of WH questions using the teaching poster on page 3. You can give each student a mini strip (page 4) for a visual cue. Each WH question scene includes 15 WH Questions. Utilize each question for practice. Then see if your student can ask any more questions about the scene.

The vocabulary cards include a community helper plus seven related items. Use these items for:
-labeling (What is this?)
-identifying (Find the mail truck.)
-describing (Tell me two thing about a toothbrush.)
-finding associations (Find all 7 things that go with fire fighter.)
-categories (Find all the vehicles.).
-compare/contrast (How are the clothes for the dentist and doctor the same?)
