Description

Are you looking for counting-to-5, community workers-themed math sequencing puzzles for your early learners? These fun community helpers sequence puzzles, working with numbers 1-5, will help your early learners practice their number sense 1-5, sequencing skills, and fine motor cutting skills while putting together one of their community helpers.

Great For:

  • PK-2 elementary school
  • Students with disabilities
  • Autism classrooms (grade clusters K-2 & 3-5)
  • ESL, EFL, ELL, ELD
  • Students with language impairments
  • Reluctant readers and writers
  • Mixed-grade classrooms
  • At-risk students

Tips On Usage:

  • You can print on cardstock, cut into strips, and laminate. Your students can put the puzzle together in the correct number order. The puzzle pieces may be stored in plastic baggies and work well in workstations and literacy centers.

  • You can also cut the strips and give them to your students to glue together in the correct number order on a piece of paper for homework or classwork ( print and use)

  • Alternatively, you can create activity books (matching tasks) for students who need high support. Make two copies of the worksheet, laminate and cut one into strips and velcro, and have students match the strips to the worksheet.

This Activity Includes: 26 pages

  • firefighter
  • mail carrier
