This hands-on sorting activity is a great supplement to your community helpers social studies unit! It will help your students gain a better understanding of community helpers and the things associated with them, such as their tools, buildings, vehicles, uniforms, etc. These cute and colorful cards are fun for the children to sort and classify and can be used as a whole class “circle time” activity or in small group instruction. They can also be put in a learning center for independent work.
