20 task cards that ask students to compare and order rational numbers. Students will be asked to compare and order numbers from real life situations. Task cards include ordering and comparing integers, fraction, decimals, and a mix of all of them. Students will use numbers from a table to order and compare and use number lines as a tool to order numbers.
The task cards included types of questions that will help students prep for state testing.
Standards: TEKS 6.2C, 6.2D and CCSS 6.NS.C.7
There are two versions of the task cards: one with QR codes for students to self-check their responses and one with no QR codes. The task cards are also included as full-page slides that you could project to the class or use in small group instruction.
There are many ways task cards can be used in your math classroom. Use as a center in your classroom for students to work collaboratively on. Place the cards around the room and have students complete the tasks as they walk around the room. Use this as practice as you pull students for small groups.
