Comparing 2-Digit Numbers Digital Task Cards Distance Learning


Students will use their analytical skills and knowledge of place value to compare 2-digit numbers. To use this resource, you will need to have a Boom Learning account. Details on how to set up an account can be found below.

This product includes:

• A link to access 25 Digital Task Cards on BOOM Learning℠

• Teacher Notes on how to use these BOOM Cards™ in your classroom.

This deck includes 5 different activities:

Activity 1 (cards 1, 6, 11, 16, 21)
Students select all of the true statements
Activity 2 (cards 2, 7, 12, 17, 22)
Students complete statements by dragging the correct number into an empty box
Activity 3 (cards 3, 8, 13, 18, 23)
Students move the correct comparison sign into the statement
Activity 4 (cards 4, 9, 14, 19, 24)
Students create statements by moving two numbers and a comparison sign into the relevant boxes
Activity 5 (cards 5, 10, 15, 20, 25)
Students select all of the false statements

Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones. Understand the following as special cases:
The numbers 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine hundreds (and 0 tens and 0 ones).
Compare two three-digit numbers based on meanings of the hundreds, tens, and ones digits, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
