Hey-hey!
The purpose of this product is to strengthen student's understanding of place value. You could use and direct this product in various ways: independent, elbow partners, classroom stations, etc.
The challenge in this product is to test student's understanding of place value. I included pairings of decimals with the same numbers, in the same order, but in different place values. The student has to be able to differentiate if, how and why the numbers are different. This product also gauges a student's understanding of how 0's can affect place value.
What's included:
- Set A sheet - introductory decimals; goes up to the hundredths place
- Set B sheet - more challenging; goes up to the ten-thousandths place
- Answer keys
