This notes page focuses on comparing positive and negative fractions. Students are guided through finding a common denominator, writing equivalent fractions, and comparing the numerator. An example,scaffolded practice, and answer key is provided.

I use the notes after the first learning process. When my students have struggled on a quiz I pull out these notes as a reteach and practice opportunity. I've realized that some of my students just need extended practice of a skill. This is what I designed these notes around.
