Learn about equivalent fractions and compare fractions with area models, pictures, and number lines. Students will learn how to identify equivalent fractions and compare fractions with the same denominator or numerator.

This Slides are broken down into 3 sections:

1. Equivalent fractions- explore equivalent fractions with models and number lines

2. Comparing fractions- compare fractions with pictures, models, and number lines (same numerator or denominator)

3. Fractions as whole numbers- learn how fractions can be equivalent to whole numbers with models.

Teachers can break up the slides as needed.

Slides include fill in the blank and multiple choice.

These Slides are perfect for digital lessons or scaffolding with fractions.
