Description

Get ready for some hands-on fun comparing lengths with this simple interactive worksheet! All you need is a copy of this worksheet and some colored paper strips for each student. (There’s no precise number or measurement, but I find that 5 different colored strips measuring approximately 1 x 6” works well for this task.)

Students will cut each strip into two unequal parts and glue the pieces onto the appropriate side of the chart. Each completed worksheet will have short colored papers on the left side and their matching long pieces on the right.

You'll love this activity because it's simple, hands-on, and easy to prep. Your students will love it because it's fun!

Great for Common Core standard K.MD.2

Perfect for a Math Center
