You are looking at a creatively designed and illustrated set of Comparing and Ordering Numbers to 100,000 Task Cards that have been seamlessly differentiated into three levels of rigor. The questions level up in groups of 10 which allow students of all levels to build confidence in their skills before being challenged by more higher level thinking questions that are introduced later in the set. There are 30 cards in all and all cards align with Math TEK 3.2D.
Cards #1-10 are the least difficult in the set and can be given to any students who might be struggling to gain confidence. Cards #11-20 are just slightly more challenging, while the last 10 questions require a bit more critical thinking.

This set was carefully formulated to ensure alignment to common core state standard 3.2D (Comparing and Ordering Numbers to 100,000), and is specifically designed to meet documented student expectations for this standard.
The questions are patterned on previously released State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) Math Tests. The questions can be used for guided practice and independent practice.
*Careful attention has been put into each question so they won't be so challenging as to discourage your students, while still being rigorous enough to prepare your students for testing and assessment.
