Description

These notes go over comparing simple and compound interest. They go over both the simple and compound interest formulas and include the importance of comparing the total amount or interest only since the formulas are not set to the same thing, and include three in-depth examples. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.

These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of middle schoolers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to.

My students loved compound interest more than simple interest because of this resource; something about the formatting and practice helped make it click for them. Thank you!
