Description

A self-grading digital quiz has been added too! There are 16 printable task cards and a printable box and presentation slides at the end of the document to teach students how to compare themes. There are sixteen half-page task cards included that review a variety of fiction and nonfiction themes and big ideas. They can be used as task cards by individual students, or they can be used as a fun tic-tac-toe game with partner students. Use this as a quick review or as a fun test prep resource.

This document covers fiction AND nonfiction. This is a great way for students to review common themes in literature PLUS the common overarching, big ideas that are commonly conveyed in history and science passages. Students are able to practice analyzing the message of authors in an engaging way.
