This complete lesson is great for any Teacher! With this assignment students will learn the basics of Facial Mapping and Self Portraits in three views; Front View, Profile View, and Three Quarter View. Students will also receive a history lesson on the famous artist Leonardo da Vinci. Students will practice completing self portraits in three different views and three different materials. Students will also practice drawing their peers in a warm up activity.

You are receiving handouts with directions for students to assist them in creating their Portraits. One handout gives detailed instructions how to setup a face through facial mapping. The other handout gives detailed instructions on how to draw the facial features; eyes, nose, and lips.

And last but not least you are receiving the written Lesson Plan that can be adapted to any lesson plan format. This includes Instructional Strategies, Thinking Skills, Instruction, Guided Practice and more.
