This complete and incomplete metamorphosis cut and paste has students sorting through 12 different characteristics and examples of metamorphosis as well as their definitions and sequence.
This product can be differentiated in several ways:
1. Students can sort all of the definitions, characteristics, sequence, and life cycle pictures on a recording sheet.
2. Students can use the recording sheet that already has the definitions and just sort the characteristics, sequence, and pictures for less of a challenge.
3. Students can use the recording sheet that has all the blanks and write their own definitions and sort the characteristics, sequence, and pictures for more of a challenge.
4. The sort can also be done with the foldable page so students could place it in their interactive notebook.
This could easily be placed in a science center for your students or used as an assessment of what they know!
