How do we play?

Directions: Post one complete sentence sign and one incomplete sentence sign in the classroom where there’s lots of space to stand near each.

  1. Students start at their desks.
  2. Teacher says to “Guess and Go” (and display the Guess and Go Google Slide)
  3. Students will walk to the sign they think the answer will be. (They'll either stand by the Complete or Incomplete sign. Once all students are standing by their selected  sign, the teacher will show the slide/page with the sentence. Some of the sentences are complete and some are incomplete.
  4. If the student(s) guessed correctly, they’ll stay at their sign. If the student(s) guessed incorrectly, they’ll go to their desks and they’re out of the game.
  5. Repeat Steps 2-4 until there’s one person standing or no one else standing.

"Guess and Go" is an EASY, FUN way to review concepts. It's a simple way to get practice concepts quickly and easily. Get ready to have your class asking if they can play this daily.
