Description

Differentiate for all learners with these math task card activities for composing and decomposing numbers to 10! Engage kids with fun Fall/Thanksgiving themes of turkeys and feathers while they color to match problems, finding sums and unknowns.

DIFFERENTIATION MADE EASY!  Three different skill levels of task card activities are provided with three different levels of response sheets for each activity. Differentiated response sheets and leveled activities provide choice to meet your learning objectives and students’ needs. Scaffold instruction by increasing the level of complexity as you move through all of the activities with your whole class or group, differentiate according to individual student needs and abilities – or do both!

EASY TO USE!  Consistent directions across each task card activity promote student independence. Both colored and blackline versions of the task cards are included. Task cards are low prep – just print and cut. Response sheets are all no-prep blackline and ready to print. Students will need access to crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

VERSATILE!  Each of the task cards offers different problems, allowing you and your students to use all activities without repetition of the same problems to solve. Use for small group instruction, concept review & practice, math centers, assessments, exit slips, independent work, partner work, and whole class games.

WHAT EDUCATORS ARE SAYING ABOUT TASK CARDS FROM BRILLIANT ABILITIES . . .

I loved the level of progression with these task cards. It also provided efficient amount of examples at one level before going to the next. I read each problem to my students and had them solve them. I'm kindergarten, and although I believe my higher level students could read it, I just wanted us to focus on the math concepts instead of reading. The wording is repetitive, so eventually practice alone would be possible.
