Description
Students use number lines, ten frames, and number bonds to represent composing and decomposing numbers 1-10.
Each page has two ten frames - use them to compose the numbers. Students can use two different colored crayons to show the two groups.
Then use the number bonds to show how you break apart these groups to decompose.
I use this along with unifix cubes so that students can also be physically composing and decmopsing numbers.
The last page does not have a number selected so that it can be used to assess.
