This resource, for Algebra through Pre-Calculus, covers function composition and composite functions' domain. The 6 practice problems ask students to find the composition of two functions and then the domain of the composite function. The following types of functions are on this worksheet: linear, quadratic, rational, and radical (square root). The solution key is included in this 4 page PDF resource.

Question 1: linear & square root function combined

Question 2: linear & rational function combined

Question 3 (2 parts): quadratic & square root function combined; asks to find both g(h(x)) and h(g(x)) and their domains and uses open circle notation for composition

Question 4: rational & square root function combined; uses s(x) & v(x) for function names

Question 6 (2 parts): 2 rational functions combined; asks to find both g(f(x)) and f(g(x)) and their domains
