Description

Notes and assignment over Solving Compound Inequalities. TUTORIAL VIDEO included (no prep to you!) and can be found on my YouTube Channel: Mandy’s Math World - the video is on the Equations and Inequalities playlist!

Prior to this lesson, students should know how to solve Solve Multi-Step Inequalities and should be able to graph an inequality on a number line.

Please note: this set of notes DOES NOT include special cases of compound inequalities (i.e. answers involving "No Solution" or "Infinitely Many Solutions." These are covered in lesson 10 - Special Solutions to Inequalities and Multi-Step Inequalities Review Puzzle Assignment. Additionally, all of the "and" examples will have a solution (i.e. the graphs of the solutions will overlap and will have endpoints). All of the graphs for the "or" examples will be rays that go to infinity and negative infinity.

This is the ninth lesson in my Equations and Inequalities Unit Bundle for Algebra 1!
