Description
Use this ten-question activity to allow your students to practice using the Compound Interest Formula!
It works best when students work in groups of 2-3 to practice their understanding of using the compound interest formula. When I implemented this practice set in my classroom, I intentionally made sure that each student within a pod of three had a unique form; that way, they could verbally collaborate, but everyone had to do their own work.
This activity asks students to calculate the final account balance given the principal, interest rate, amount of time in years, and number of times compounded.
Final answers are provided for each form.
