Description
This is a digital version of my Compound Probability Scavenger Hunt Activity created for use in Google Drive™. No hanging up posters necessary!
Students will practice solving problems with compound probability with this fun self-checking digital activity! Students will solve 15 problems. Each problem solved will lead the students to a new problem to solve until they have solved all 15 problems. A printable recording sheet is included to keep students accountable. You will be amazed at the math talk you hear and the collaboration between students as they work on this activity!
The problems include both independent and dependent events. Many examples of real-world situations are included. Please look at the preview file to see if these types of problems are appropriate for your students.
This product includes the following:
- A link to the digital activity on Google Slides including student directions
- A PowerPoint version of the activity that can be uploaded to OneDrive
- Detailed directions for how to share the activity with students including video tutorials for both Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive
- An optional recording sheet
- Answer key
This activity is aligned to CCSS 7.SP.C.8.
