This middle school resource includes a mini lesson on combining independent clauses as well as 15 sentences inspired by a popular anime show for student practice.  Students will drag circles over conjunctions, label compound and simple sentences, and choose a conjunction to combine independent clauses. This resource can work for online or face to face learning environments. The backgrounds are not editable.
