Description

How The Turtle Got Its Shell is one of our finest online reading comprehension worksheets. We think there is nothing finer that a collaborative effort to improve students reading comprehension and also educate young learners of the wonderful culture of Native Australians. This worksheet follows an Aboriginal Dreaming story that tells of how the turtle got its shell, an interesting tale that has been an integral part of Aboriginal culture since pre-European colonisation.

When you download this resource you’ll get the Dream story itself, but also a question and answer sheet that young learners can complete on their own. An answer key for teachers and parents is also included. The resources itself is also available in three different formats that cater to any skill level. The beauty of this is that you can set this worksheet each year and get a personal look at how each student has progressed.
