I created this to help my students who are independently reading. This helps kids who are needing some support with comprehension. They are encouraged to write down words they can't sound out or don't know the meaning to, connections they make when reading as well as questions they may have about the story, characters or predictions of where the story is going. We celebrate when students fill these out. I check in with kids weekly and discuss and look up words they need help with.
