This Career Exploration and Career Research Lesson is a great addition to any career and college awareness program. By completing a career interest inventory and an engaging research workbook, students will actively explore career options, enhancing their understanding of career clusters and their future possibilities.

Students will learn about the 6 career Fields and 14 Career Clusters while competing a career cluster survey. Students will then research a career of their choosing by competing a student workbook. This lesson may be used digitally or in person. A PowerPoint presentation will guide the students through their career project and the student workbooks are available in either pdf or Google Slides (TM) versions.

This lesson may take 3-4 class lessons to complete as students are completing a workbook that asks them to think about their skills, interests, abilities, future goals, career research and final reflection thoughts.
