My 'ABOUT ME' activity for Computer Applications class is a lesson I use to pre-assess the skills of my new students the first week of school or semester to see how much they know about Google Slides (or Microsoft PowerPoint). Also a great way to get to know your new students and spark conversations.

There are six (6) slides with prompts in the margins for students to follow. The file is a Google Slides file that can be easily converted to Microsoft PowerPoint®.

Students do the following in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint:

• Create a 'vibe' slide with photos and add a border to a photo
• Add photos of their ideal vacation getaway along with captions
• List 5 favorite foods and beverages
• List 10 logos of your favorite brands
• Free choice slide
• List 5 things teens can do to stay safe on-line

**Two Student Examples are included to inspire your students.**
