Description

Quick Tech Activities for 3rd Grade make it easy to build essential digital skills without adding to your test prep stress. These no-prep, ready-to-use lessons help students practice keyboarding, online navigation, and computer basics—skills that directly support online testing success.

Perfect for classroom teachers who need tech integration that’s simple, quick, and effective during a busy testing season.

Units Included:

  • Keyboarding
  • Computer Science (coding)
  • Digital Design
  • Software
  • Online Research Skills

If you're expected to teach students about Digital Citizenship too, then I recommend also grabbing this set: 3rd Grade Digital Citizenship Activities. I didn't turn it into a Quick Tech set because it is already formatted for a 3rd grade classroom.

Test prep isn't just about content—it's about confidence.
Your students already know the answers... now help them feel ready to navigate online tools, type their responses, and click with confidence.
✨ My Quick Tech sets give students the essential computer skills they need—without adding more to your plate.

➡️ Perfect for warm-ups, tech days, sub plans, or transitions during testing season.

What is Quick Tech?

Test prep season is stressful enough—teaching digital skills shouldn’t make it harder.
That’s why I created Quick Tech: bite-sized, no-prep technology lessons designed to fit easily into your packed classroom schedule.

Many schools have phased out dedicated tech classes, leaving classroom teachers to figure out how (and when) to teach essential digital skills. I knew I could help.

As a former technology teacher, I already had a full library of tech activities built for the computer lab. So I pulled the most essential pieces and restructured them into grade-level friendly sets that are quick, simple, and effective—especially when your students need a confidence boost for online testing.

All in short, meaningful lessons that support real digital literacy—without requiring you to plan, prep, or guess what to teach next.

*If you're a tech teacher, you don't want this bundle, you want the full sets of each activity.

You’ve reviewed the math facts, practiced the reading strategies, and run through all the test tips.
But what about the tech side of testing?

✅ Can they type comfortably?
✅ Know how to navigate a digital form?
✅ Click, drag, or scroll without frustration?

If your answer is “ehhh... not really,” that’s where Quick Tech comes in.
These sets give students hands-on digital practice with typing, online research, form navigation, and more—in 10 minutes or less.
