I love task cards for engaging students in some collaborative practice during the initial days of learning material. They always enjoy being able to pick problems, check immediately, and put ones to side that they want me to go over in small group. Usually, I love resources from this TPT store and find them to be of high and reliable quality, but this one had a significant number of typos either in the questions or in the answer key. Sadly, it made the practice time less effective. Thank you for your responsiveness - in using the new version this year there are still 2 errors you should be aware of. The answer to #10 is missing the index of 4 for the y term. The question for number 19 on the task cards says 13x^2 and the ws says 3x^2 leading to another discrepancy in answer if using the answer key for the ws for the task cards as well. Full credit to my students for catching those.

Please download again as the two typos on #2 and #7 where the card and worksheet did not match have been fixed. All answers are correct. Drop me an email for a finders reward.

Use these for my College Algebra students. I had them do half the condensing and half the expanding. Use my own answer sheets which provides more room to work. Challenging enough that they all had questions at first but became independent and worked well after the first few of each.

These are not too difficult, but still a little challenging. They should do well.
