Description
This is a great Powerpoint presentation that can be used to review conditional statements. It will work great as a review after the notes, a review a day after learning the material, a review before a quiz or test, or just an activity that you want students to be able to practice their conditional skills.
When I used this in class, I had my students write their answers on dry erase boards, and then I was able to quickly check them before clicking the answer. After some of the problems the original statement will be circled or underlined so that you can talk about why the answer was the converse, contrapositive, etc. Below is break down of what is included in the presentation.
3 slides that have definitions, rules, reminders
1 slide that has 4 problems that students write statements in if-then form then check the validity of the statement.
3 slides with 3 problems each that state how each new statement is related to the original conditional statement on that slide.
My students really liked this and it was a great quick and comprehensive review. After using it in class I added the underlines and circles because while teaching I realized that they would be helpful.
Hope you enjoy!
