Note: As an M. Night Shyamalan fan and Philadelphia resident, I based the examples in both resources on his three movies in the Unbreakable series: Unbreakable, Split, and Glass. You (and students) do not need to know this series. I simply used it as a creative entry-point for students to access these skills in a fun, accessible, and comic-book style way. All background info. you need and any context are on the resources. Alternatively, you could use the resources as a template and easily substitute in examples from any other movie or text.
