10 page booklet (5 pages front/back) that introduces conics. It includes a distance problem to relate midpoint/distance formulas to conics problems as well as places for students to sketch real world examples of the different conic sections. This example is related to Las Vegas, but you could put your own map in its place. A place for all the equations and graphs for each type is also part of this booklet. The file is a publisher file. I used this to give the students a reference as we went through this unit.
