Connect 4 is a categories game that encourages students to use their critical thinking skills to find patterns and connections in a puzzle grid of 16 pictures. The puzzles can be done independently, in pairs, small groups, or as a whole group activity. Students will find the puzzles with only pictures to be more challenging, however identical puzzles with labels are provided for scaffolding. Either way, Connect 4 is an engaging activity for students of all abilities.
