I created this task/activity to go with a "Connect Four" game and have incorporated solving equations. Each player takes turns drawing an equation card. If the player solves the equation correctly they get to drop one of his/her checkers down any of the slots in the top of the grid. The play alternates until one of the players gets four checkers of his/her color in a row. The four in a row can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The first player to get four in a row wins. This file includes a cover sheet with instructions, 50 equation cards, and an answer key.
