Description
I use this printable with a hands on activity. I give each student an envelope with six synonyms that they arrange from the weakest to strongest connotation. They exchange envelopes and repeat (I have 8 different word evelopes and three copies of each).

Thank you!
Great organizer for students! Thank you!
Great resource! Quick and easy lesson for my kids

I had never thought about it as a continuum, but it really helped my students with understanding.
Really made my students think- thanks!
