I used this to develop students' vocabulary and select accurate, strong word choices in their writing. It functioned as a mini-lesson to assess why authors choose the words that they do to convey a certain message, tone, or mood.

It took me a while to sort through the practice exercises, quizzes, and the presentation. There was no file that gave you a layout of of how the resource should be used. I adapted the resource to use with Google Forms, because the way I structured the lesson and the resource was where students work at their own pace and only move on after their quiz is graded. Overall, the content was good, but it needed more explanation and consider making it more “Google Friendly.”
