Description
In this exploratory lab, students use hot wheels cars (or anything else that is fun and rolls!) to explore acceleration. Students will measure time, distance, and angle of elevation, calculate average speed and final speed, and then use their data to calculate acceleration. Students will use data from their lab and background knowledge to create a CER statement differentiating between acceleration and velocity. All materials are in English and in Spanish. Students can complete this document digitally or by hand.
