Description

This lab uses the Moving Man simulation from PHET to allow students to explore the differences between velocity and acceleration and both of their effects on motion. Students are tasked with getting their man to move in specific ways by adjusting his position, velocity, and acceleration. In doing so, they form conclusions about how each affects direction of motion and speed. All materials are in English and Spanish. This lab can be completed digitally or by hand by students.
