Description

Give your students practice with identifying constants (controlled variables) and writing hypotheses with this two page worksheet. The questions in the worksheet require students to read a scientific question and use it to identify the independent variable, the dependent variable, and two constants. (Students color pictures blue, green, or yellow depending on the variable type.) Then students must list one additional constant and write a hypothesis. The last question instructs students to create their own scientific question, provide the variables, and write a hypothesis.
