"I used this resource for review when I had a sub. The instructions were very clear to understand and the students turned in great work. I loved how it was outlined and very easy to work with. Great resource!"

Description

This activity was designed to help marketing students walk through the process of a consumer buying decision from need recognition to post-purchase activities.

The way it is set up is students draw or paste their buyer in the workspace (slide 2). Slides 3-8 walk them through their tasks which their buyer needs to complete during the entire buying process. I have included an example that teachers can show to students before they get started (the last slide).

This activity doesn't take any prep for the teacher but I have also made an input slide for the teacher to review the process beforehand. Students have a lot of fun with this activity as they discover typical steps buyers make during the buying process.

This was a good activity to get Marketing students engaged in the Buying Decision Process. Most realized after completing the activity that you do go through each step when you purchase something, but we don't actually think that it is a process.
