Contingency Maps
Share

Description

Print these contingency maps and write or glue pictures directly on it OR laminate for durability and attach velcro to each box so that pictures can be interchangeable!

The first box represents the trigger (which is usually when the student's problem occurs). Across the top, you add pictures of the behavior or behaviors you want to occur, and the reinforcer the student will receive. Along the bottom, you would include the problem behavior or behaviors, and the natural consequence.

This visual representation helps students begin taking control of their own behaviors and making smart choices to follow rules in order to get what they want.

For use with your own picture cards or text!
