Description
Use this activity as an introduction to continuity and discontinuity.
Have students cut out all of the graphs and then put them in to groups based on what they notice. Have them come up with a label for each group. Share out their findings. Then give them labels “Continuous”, “Point Discontinuity”, “Jump Discontinuity”, and “Infinite Discontinuity”. Have them rearrange their graphs and share out.
This works great as a partner activity.
It can also be used to discuss limits in Calculus.
