Description

Spring into...Contraction Action!

Help your students learn what a contraction is and how contractions are formed. These activities provide hands on learning, practice, games, whole group and small group lessons, homework, practice, assessment, etc.

I have included a whole page of ideas of how to use the materials. There are multiple uses for each hands on activity! Because you can use the materials in more ways than one, you are able to modify to your students' level and needs. The sets can be made once and laminated for use for years to come!

Included:
*Definition of Contractions Mini Poster

*Contraction Sorting & Teaching Cards (8 mini posters/headers and
48 teaching/practice cards!)

*Catch the Fireflies Contractions Matching Games

*Cut & Paste Contractions Activities

*11 Activity Sheets for practice, homework, or assessment (fill in the

-Contractions with Is (given two words, write the contraction)
