This Spring Metric Unit of Measurement Foldable Review Activity & Color by Number is an engaging approach to review conversions and applied themed worded situations, while engaged in a fun coloring activity. On the cover side of the foldable, you have the reference tool and conversions exercises, while inside is the questions with a Spring in the Rain Color by Number activity.
This is a no-prep ready-print-go activity! It is a fun way to review at this time of the year, to spiral back, reteach, or as a sub-plan. They can fold the activity when finished and glue/tape it to their notebook!
Suggested for grades 4-5-6.
This resource reviews the following:
- Converting in Metric units covering:
- length, capacity (volume) and weight/mass
- Comparing measurements in Metric units
- (greater than, less than or equal to)
- Questions having students think and decide, which unit of measurement is needed in daily situational questions

- Outside part of the foldable - Reference tool for metric units of measurement identified by length, capacity, mass/weight. Conversions practice for each category of measurement (length, capacity, mass/weight). Comparison of measurement
- Inside the foldable - Color by Number activity with 9 questions with an answer bank.
- Printable foldable activity with instructions in pdf
- Two versions of the answer key in the pdf + 5 png to display on smartboard.
Suggested use for this resource:
This activity can be used as class work, math centers, small groups, morning work, reteach, substitute assignment or test prep. If having several of these of different topics, it can be used as station activities, where you or your students choose which skills they should be reviewing before the end of year testing.
**Note: This CBN activity has the same exercises as the following CBN activity, but with different color coded answers for each theme:
- Summer Beach, Summer Lighthouse,
- Owl BTS,
- Halloween Candies, Halloween,
- Christmas
- Winter Wonderland
- New Years
- Valentines Day
**I tweaked the questions wording for Halloween, Christmas, St-Patricks Day, and Spring themes to sound more seasonal. ;)
