This product is a wonderful introduction to converting mixed numbers and improper fractions. First, students will use pictures to write improper fractions and mixed numbers. As they use the pictures, students will discover and discuss how to convert mixed numbers and improper fractions. They will write down their findings, then solve several example problems.
