Description
In this activity, students convert a series of 12 cards into fraction/decimal/percent form. Then they arrange them in least to greatest order and glue them down in the form of a timeline.
There are three sets of Cards and Instructions.
An Answer Key is included.
Sample Bulletin Board images are included as well.
Also included is a Project Notebook for struggling students-- it includes directions on how to convert between fraction, decimal, and percent form, as well as practice problems to try before beginning the project -- good for students who need additional practice before attempting the project.
This can also serve as an extension of a Social Studies project where the last two digits of the percent can serve the palce of the last two digits of a year (ie. 1901, 19_ _, 1935, 19 _ _ ...) in a timeline research project.
