Description

These ten exit slips provide practice with translating words into math expressions.This aligns with pre-algebra and algebra math curricula in addition to Common Core.

Students gain practice with writing multi-step expressions which is what is expected for Common Core. The exit slips help students become more comfortable with understanding math terms and how words can be rewritten into expressions or equations.

How to Use:

--Hand them out at the end of class and use it as an exit slip

--Hand them out at the beginning of class to use as a quick pretest.

--Use them to prepare for state assessments or Common Core.

This document includes:

--10 Exit Slips

--An Answer Key

Common Core Alignment

These exit slips align with Common Core Standards: 6.EE.A.2, 6.EE.A.3, 7.EE.A.2, and 7.EE.B.4.A.
